Food Lover's Case Brief Challenge

Explain one legal concept through a food analogy — in Ope's signature style. 300–500 words. Judged on clarity + creativity. Open to law students (0L–3L) and the bar-prep community.

The Prompt

Entrants submit a 300–500 word piece explaining one legal concept using a food analogy, written in Ope's signature style. Judging is based on two things: clarity (does it actually help someone understand the concept?) and creativity (is the analogy fresh, fun, and memorable?). Think of it as writing a case brief your favorite foodie professor would actually want to read.

How to Enter

Submit your 300–500 word entry through the form on this page. Once received, your entry gets posted to Instagram. Share it with friends and ask them to like the post — likes are how your entry gets seen. The 5 most-liked entries become the judged shortlist, and from there, entries are ranked by clarity and creativity to determine the winners.
